Challenges bring the best out of the Kenatco’s Director. For John Ndungu, challenges are opportunities.

Having been a Principal Management Advisory Service Officer, a Branch Manager, Debt Recovery Officer, and an Internal Auditor at ICDC (Industrial and Commercial Development Corporation) for five years, John is in sync with major details that take organizations notches higher. The challenging transport system in Kenya has churned out of him strategies and concepts that work towards putting the passenger at the highest ease possible; for each and every of Kenatco’s departments.

Being a Management Accountant for a leading transport company made John’s vocation for Kenatco even more specific - thus becoming the ideal candidate for his office in year 2006.

This love for challenge was sharpened at University of Nairobi, where he attained a Bachelor of Commerce with the Accounting Option. Courses in customer service, supervisory skill development by Corporate Management Institute (CMI), auditing at Ernest & Young, and debts management principles and practices from Kenya School of Monetary Studies; have all equipped him with what it takes to execute the strategic directing of Kenatco; so that Kenatco maintains its exemplary reputation in Kenya’s transport industry.
